HOW IT ALL STARTED
Our founder "DJ Cheerio" got his first professional DJ job when he was 17 performing for Nashville's '80s teen dance show "Nashville Lights". During his career as a performance DJ, he opened for MTV at Nashville-based events, won numerous DJ Spin-Off Competitions, performed in some of Tokyo's hottest night clubs, and has been the head-liner DJ in some of Nashville's biggest clubs.
In 2008, "DJ Cheerio" began operating K.O. Entertainment full-time to meet the demand for his DJ services.
In 2010, K.O. Entertainment expanded it's operations into Kenai, Alaska. We performed over 250 wedding receptions and helped multiple out-of-state clients successfully plan their destination wedding.
In 2024, we returned home to where it all started. We are thrilled to be back in the Nashville area and are looking forward to meeting new families and making new memories.
